This works well for brand events, community meetups, conference keynotes, or thought leadership seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open events are discoverable on LinkedIn through search, the My Network tab, the Events tab, and in the feed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Live LinkedIn Event content is visible to anyone on the feed, profile, or Page, and anyone can watch the replay. If there is a registration form, however, the LinkedIn user must fill it out before watching the replay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"7-combining-linkedin-live-with-linkedin-events\">Combining LinkedIn Live with LinkedIn Events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/help\/linkedin\/answer\/a554240\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIn Live <\/a>and LinkedIn Events work together when you want to host a live video event for a professional audience. Here\u2019s how this setup works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LinkedIn Events gives you the event page, attendee experience, and promotion options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LinkedIn Live provides the live video broadcast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"8-event-format-linkedin-live\">Event format: LinkedIn Live<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To host a LinkedIn Live Event, your Page or profile must have access to LinkedIn Live. LinkedIn grants this access based on eligibility criteria for individual members and Pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once eligible, you can create an event, choose an online format, and select LinkedIn Live as the event format. On the day of the event, you\u2019ll need to stream through a third-party broadcast tool such as StreamYard, Restream, or Wirecast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"9-event-visibility-public-event-page\">Event visibility: public event page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LinkedIn Live Events have a public event page that attendees and non-attendees may be able to discover, view, and engage with, depending on the event setup and LinkedIn\u2019s current visibility rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Live Event also behaves like a feed post, which means comments can be used to communicate with attendees and other LinkedIn members before, during, and after the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"10-registration-optional-and-page-hosted-only\">Registration: Optional and Page-hosted only<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Registration is a separate setting from the live format itself. If you\u2019re hosting the Live Event from a LinkedIn Page, you may be able to add a native registration form during setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Registration forms are not available for events created from a personal profile. They are also not available for LinkedIn Audio Events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If registration is enabled, attendees must submit the form before accessing the event or replay. If registration is not enabled, users can attend without completing a LinkedIn registration form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"11-update-on-linkedin-event-page-2026\">Update on LinkedIn Event Page (2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s what marketers should know in 2026 about LinkedIn Events, LinkedIn Live Events, and registration forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"12-linkedin-live-event-rules-\"><strong>LinkedIn Live Event rules<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your LinkedIn Page has access to LinkedIn Live, you can create a Live Event from your Page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Starting June 22, 2026, all LinkedIn Live Events must be scheduled ahead of time. Replays remain available after the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"13-page-hosted-registration-form-rules-\"><strong>Page-hosted registration form rules<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LinkedIn registration forms are available only for eligible Page-hosted events. They are not available for events created from a personal profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you\u2019re hosting a LinkedIn Live Event from a Page, you can add a registration form during setup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration forms are not available for LinkedIn Audio Events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Page-hosted events, the registration form can include up to six fields, such as name, email, job title, company, country, and other contact information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can collect attendee details before, during, and after the event.
